Individual
Therapy
Individual
therapy allows the client the opportunity
to explore and resolve personal problems
in a one-to-one setting. The approach is
usually intensive, brief, problem specific,
with short-term goals, such as problem resolution,
decision making or reducing the effects
of a symptom.
Case
Management Services
Case management services are provided to
help clients access other community support
systems and to coordinate treatment services.
An assessment helps determine what community
resources the client needs. Case management
services are provided through linkage, advocacy,
service planning, follow-up, monitoring,
and crisis management.
Substance
Abuse Evaluations
A Substance Abuse Evaluation is a comprehensive
service that includes additional screening
tools and contacts with family members,
employers, and/or others who can provide
additional information to allow staff to
make the best possible recommendations.
The evaluation report includes detail about
the individual's history, testing results,
diagnostic profile, and treatment recommendations.
Consultation
and Education
Center staff are
available to provide consultation with schools,
social services, juvenile diversion, law
enforcement, foster parents, nursing homes,
and other members of the human service community
regarding individual cases, as well as general
mental health issues and topics. Education
is offered through speaking engagements,
inservice presentations, and workshops.
